Yesterday was a long day. Jason took the day off work and we painted from the time we got up, till 5:45 in the evening when it started getting dark. We were both tired, and tired of painting, but we got a lot accomplished.
So I come in at 5:45 and think, “What am I going to make for dinner?”
Then I remembered. Today was election day. I promised myself and all of you that I would vote! So, I put on my shoes and wore my painting clothes to the polling place. I took Miranda with me because Clare was still not home from ballet just yet. I got my sticker!

Oh, and Clare got to go vote with Daddy when she got home. So both girls got the voting experience this year.
