Hi, I’m Stephanie, the other half of this sister combination. It’s
taken awhile for me to get this info written. I’m not a
procrastinator, really I’m not! I just prefer to put some things off
til tomorrow that I don’t want to tackle today so I can do other
things that I really WANT to do.  (…… I think I just described
procrastination.) :)

Anyway, I’m a mama of four kids ranging from 1-7. I homeschool the
older two while trying to sneak some education into my three year old
and attempting to keep my one year old from making me call Poison
Control! It’s a big job and one that quite frankly makes me want to
pull my hair out, climb the walls, and some days, box myself up and
address it to Timbuctu! BUT it’s a job God has called me to and He
wouldn’t give me anything I couldn’t handle so I keep putting one foot
in front of the other while repeating “And be not weary in well-doing;
And be not weary in well-doing….”

I have been married to my husband for over nine years. He has a job
that keeps him traveling at least part of the year. Last year, we
found out we had to move from Florida to Tennessee where he would be
working half the year in Memphis and half in Jackson, Ms. Our home
would be in Tennessee but we would start out in Jackson. So in a
matter of 6-8 weeks, we packed the house, while still traveling part
time and homeschooling the kids and being teen leaders at our church,
moved our stuff to storage in Memphis, had Christmas with relatives in
Florida and Illinois and then finally ‘settled’ in Jackson into a two
bed, two bath hotel room where we stayed until June. We will do the
hotel thing again each spring unless God leads him to a different job.

We are currently still ‘visiting’ churches to see where God would have
us although we are pretty sure we have found the right place.

My goals in life are to make a happy, healthy, Godly home…which is
hard enough with just husband and wife. But throw four strong willed
children into the mix and it becomes chaos! However, I am determined
to give it my all. And the only way to effectively teach those hard
headed, stubborn, siblings to love and serve one another above
themselves is to be the best example I can be. And so with that goal
in mind, I will endeavor to help Cindy put together (…..or just
smile and pretend to help while she does all the work) a blog page to
share our daily experiences of how we help and teach our families to
be God’s servants in a world dominated by self serving philosophies
and practices.
